重庆升降机一般都在显著的位置标明货梯的额定载重量，但都不设超载保护自动控制系统。现在通过在货梯电控系统中加装超载保护的智能控制，对消除货梯操作人员违章行为，规范使用货梯的生产作业人员的行为习惯，以及预防误操作，都具有较好的实用价值。
