刚推出的食品专用升降货梯与普通升降货梯相比，设计时在满足强度的要求下，应尽量选择304食品级不锈钢，比如护栏、台面板、底架、移动把手等，在无法使用304不锈的承重部位，内外均应做除锈处理，表面做喷塑处理；液压系统在设计时，考虑采取液压油放泄漏措施，同时液压油应选用食品级液压油，以防止液压油泄漏时对食品造成污染；转动部位，全部采用食品级润滑油，加注时量要适中。
